Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery is a trusted, prevention-focused nonprofit that has served families with young children in the Twin Cities for more than 40 years. Based in Minneapolis, the Nursery provides voluntary, compassionate crisis support—including overnight childcare, crisis counseling, and family stabilization services—during moments of acute stress, with the goal of preventing child abuse and neglect and strengthening families.
The next President & CEO will lead Crisis Nursery into its next chapter, providing steady strategic, operational, and cultural leadership across a 24/7 organization with a multi-million-dollar operating budget and a deeply committed staff. In close partnership with the Board of Directors, this role is accountable for organizational performance, financial sustainability, fundraising and public funding strategy, and external relationships across the community.
The ideal candidate is a calm, relational leader who can honor Crisis Nursery’s legacy while guiding the organization through complexity with sound judgment, emotional intelligence, and a deep respect for the people at the heart of the work.
